Meet Our Electricians
Meet Russell
Russell Dwyer started his electrical career in early 2001 through work experience at Vocational College (now known as Newman Senior Technical College). He was offered an apprenticeship and has been at it ever since. He worked initially with a well-known local company (which is now retired) before joining one of the more progressive electrical businesses until he later joined Tom (Dad) to form Dwyer Gold Class Electricians.
Russell has extensive experiences and skills throughout the trade and offers a high-level quality of service and workmanship. Russell enjoys being an electrician and lives and breathes his work, so creating his own business was the obvious step in the right direction for his future. He is married to Emma, and they have two young children, Toby and Lucy.
Meet Connor
Connor was our first tradesman onboard and started with us as an apprentice. Initially Connor was training to be a Chef, but felt a career change was needed. Cue Dwyer Gold Class Electricians! Connor enjoys playing Touch Football each week and religiously watches the cricket in the summer. Connor is married to his wife Katelyn and have a gorgeous daughter Ellianna.
Meet Jack
Jack initially came to us as a work experience student from Newman’s Technical College. We liked him so much we offered him an apprenticeship which he has recently completed to become a fully licensed Electrician. Jack enjoys playing Rugby for the Vikings and the occasional round of golf. He lives with his partner Tamika in beautiful Lake Cathie.
Meet Lachlan
Lachlan commenced as a work experience student, and we soon offered him a school-based apprenticeship in partnership with Newman Senior Technical College.
We’re keen to see Lachy’s journey ahead!
When he’s not with us or at school, Lachy can be found surfing a good wave and fishing with his mates on the weekend.
Meet Abbey
Abbey is our 2nd year apprentice and has come from an Automotive background. She has won the All Schools World Skills award in Automotive Services, but decided working with us was too good to pass up. Abbey is an animal lover through and through
